To ensure maximum safety and product longevity, please adhere to the following guidelines for all special purpose tubes:

  • Avoid High Temperatures: Do not use with fluids exceeding 60°C (140°F). High ambient or fluid temperatures can soften the tube and drastically reduce its burst pressure limit.
  • Avoid Corrosive Fluids: Do not use with corrosive fluids such as strong acids, strong alkalis, or high-polarity solvents. These can degrade the tube material and create a risk of rupture.
  • Mind the Environment: Working environments with high ambient temperatures (>60°C) or aggressive chemical gases can accelerate tube aging and cause cracking.
  • Proper Storage: Do not store tubes in a humid environment or for a prolonged period (>12 months). The hydrolysis effect can cause the material to become brittle and lead to cracking.
