OUTOU Technical Support Center
At OUTOU, we believe reliable performance begins with accurate technical understanding.
Our support center provides detailed engineering data, installation standards, and technical documentation to help you select, install, and operate our pneumatic tubes safely and efficiently.
Whether you are designing automation systems, hydraulic circuits, or industrial air lines, this section offers the critical data you need.
Technical Data
Our polyurethane and engineering plastic tubing are designed under controlled mechanical and dimensional standards. The following technical references help you ensure correct application and system safety.
Pressure–Temperature Chart
Why It Matters
Working pressure and burst pressure are directly affected by temperature variation.
Operating a tube beyond its recommended temperature range may reduce pressure capacity and increase burst risk.
What You Should Consider
- Polyester TPU recommended temperature: -20℃ to 60℃
- Polyether TPU offers improved hydrolysis resistance
- Elevated temperatures (>60℃) may soften the tube
- Pressure capacity decreases as temperature increases
We provide pressure–temperature reference charts based on standard 8×5mm polyester TPU tubes to guide safe system design.
✅ Helps prevent overpressure failure
✅ Ensures long-term durability
✅ Supports safe pneumatic system design
Minimum Bend Radius Guide
Why Bend Radius Is Critical
Exceeding the recommended bend radius may cause:
- Stress concentration
- Reduced pressure capacity
- Tube deformation
- Premature cracking
OUTOU Engineering Control
Our tubes are engineered with:
- True circular cross-sections
- Balanced wall thickness distribution
- Controlled elasticity modulus
Minimum bend radius ranges from 10mm to 60mm depending on tube diameter.
✅ Compact installation optimization
✅ Reduced mechanical stress
✅ Improved service life
Always follow the bend radius guide during installation to maintain system reliability.
Chemical Resistance Reference
Environmental Compatibility Matters
Exposure to certain chemicals may cause:
- Surface softening
- Swelling
- Hydrolysis cracking
- Accelerated aging
OUTOU tubes are manufactured using high-grade TPU, PA6, and PTFE materials to enhance chemical stability.
We provide guidance for resistance against:
- Oils and lubricants
- Strong acids and alkalis
- Solvents
- Chemical gases
- Humidity exposure
⚠ Important Note:
High temperature (>60℃) combined with corrosive fluids significantly increases burst risk.
Installation Guide
Proper installation is critical to tube performance and safety.
Before Installation
✔ Verify outer diameter, inner diameter, and wall thickness
✔ Inspect for surface defects (bubbles, cracks, discoloration)
✔ Ensure tube is within recommended storage period (<12 months)
Cutting Instructions
- Use professional tube cutters to ensure:
- Smooth cross-section
- Perfect roundness
- Clean sealing surface
- Improper cutting may cause leakage or fitting failure.
During Assembly
- Insert tube vertically into fitting
- Ensure full insertion
- Perform light pull test to confirm connection
- Avoid bending beyond minimum radius
- Ensure tube-to-fitting centerline angle ≤30°
Storage Recommendations
- Store in cool, ventilated areas
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure
- Avoid humid environments
- Do not store for extended periods (>12 months)
- Improper storage may lead to hydrolysis cracking.
